AI Landing Zone

Your team is building AI tonight.
We make sure it's safe.

Somewhere in your organisation, an empowered executive, product lead, or department head is prototyping an AI solution on Lovable, Replit, or ChatGPT — right now, at 11pm, on their personal account. They're proving a business case that matters to them. The AI Landing Zone is where they can do that inside your Microsoft tenant instead.

Why this exists

Enterprise AI adoption is not happening through IT-led programmes. It's happening through individual executives and product teams who have been empowered to explore — and who need results faster than formal procurement can move. Most of them are working on consumer AI tools outside your governance boundary because the internal path is too slow, and the security team finds out afterwards.

The AI Landing Zone gives them a safe place to land. Your people get the same speed they'd get on Lovable, inside your tenant, inside your security posture, on Microsoft-native infrastructure we already operate under ISO/IEC 27001, 22301, and 20000-1 — and aligned to ISO/IEC 42001.

What we deploy

A governed foundation, not a blank subscription. Every component tied into your existing Azure estate and our operating discipline.

Governed Azure Landing Zone

Enterprise-Scale reference architecture, identity and policy baseline, network topology aligned to your existing estate.

Key Vault

Centralised secrets, keys, and prompt libraries, with access audit.

SQL PaaS

Managed data foundation for RAG, embeddings, and application state.

Azure Front Door

Secure edge, WAF, and rate limiting for AI endpoints.

GitHub release management

Repository, CI/CD, branch protection, code review gates aligned to your change-control standards.

Master prompts for Claude and OpenAI

Curated prompt library as a starting point, maintained under version control.

Observability

Request logging, cost attribution, prompt/response audit for ISO 42001 evidence.

Defender for Cloud integration

The AI Landing Zone reports into the same security posture as the rest of your Azure estate.

How your team uses it

The AI Landing Zone is designed for experimentation. Your business units, product teams, and empowered individuals can prototype inside it at the speed they're used to on consumer tools. Build custom Copilot Studio agents. Stand up Azure OpenAI deployments with your data. Prototype a retrieval-augmented generation platform for a specific use case. Test a Claude-based workflow on real internal data, safely, without sending anything outside your tenant.

We manage the foundation. You build on it. If a prototype proves out, you own what you've built.

Same speed. Inside your tenant.

Consumer AI tools
  • Prototypes on personal accounts, outside your governance
  • Customer or staff data sent to third-party endpoints
  • No audit trail. No evidence. No 42001 alignment
  • Security team finds out after the fact
  • No path from prototype to production
AI Landing Zone
  • Prototypes inside your Microsoft tenant, under your policies
  • Data stays in your Azure, inside your regulatory perimeter
  • Request logs, prompt audit, cost attribution from day one
  • Security team owns the environment, not the incident response
  • Production engineering ready when a prototype earns it

When it's ready for production

Most prototypes stay as prototypes. That's fine — the cost of proving a bad idea on the AI Landing Zone is far less than the cost of a committed delivery programme.

When a prototype earns its way to production, our engineering practice takes it to production. DevOps discipline, CI/CD, release engineering, observability, and 42001-aligned change management. The same team that operates the Landing Zone operates the production system. No handoff. No second vendor. No translation loss.

Some customers never need us beyond the Landing Zone itself. That's also fine. Others hand us prototypes from across the business and ask us to mature them in parallel. The Landing Zone scales to either pattern.

For regulated and sovereign buyers

For organisations that cannot prototype on consumer AI tools at all — regulated financial services, healthcare, legal, public sector, defence — the AI Landing Zone is often the first environment in which their teams can safely explore AI at all. It can be deployed inside sovereign Microsoft boundaries, with data residency aligned to your regulatory perimeter, and with evidence collection integrated into the management system framework we already operate.

Everything we ship to production is aligned to ISO/IEC 42001. We are in active certification against 42001 — the discipline is in place today; the external certification completes this year.

Delivered as one engagement. Integration included.

Production AI is an integration problem. When a prototype needs to connect to line-of-business systems, financial platforms, clinical systems, or sovereign data stores, Flowgear is the engine underneath. Flowgear is our majority-owned subsidiary and operates under the same management system framework as the rest of our practice.

GMS delivers the AI Landing Zone as a global system integrator. A single engagement, run by our professional services team, covers the Landing Zone foundation, the AI governance, and the Flowgear integration work. You do not manage a separate vendor relationship to get integration done — we do that. Turnkey delivery, one accountable party.

Engagement model and commercials

The AI Landing Zone is deployed as a fixed-scope, fixed-fee engagement following a paid Assess workstream that confirms scope, identity and governance integration, and target usage patterns. Operation of the Landing Zone is delivered under a multi-year managed service agreement, typically three years with annual review. Production engineering — taking a working pilot to ISO/IEC 42001-aligned production — is scoped per engagement and priced against the work required.

Engagements are governed by a master services agreement under Global Micro Solutions LLC (Riyadh). We do not publish pricing; the work is not commodity work and a published rate card would misrepresent the scope of your specific engagement.

Speak with the team

A 45-minute introductory conversation with a senior member of our practice — typically the engagement principal who would lead your work — to understand your environment, the AI capability your teams are trying to build, and the timeline you are operating to. We will tell you whether the AI Landing Zone is the right engagement for you. If it is not, we will tell you what is.
